Effective date: September 12, 2026 · Smash Chain for iOS
1. About this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Smash Chain, the physics destruction game by Honio Games. It applies to the iOS game and to messages you send us about it. Honio Games is responsible for the support information it handles. For privacy questions or requests, contact honiogames@gmail.com.
2. Game data stored on your device
Smash Chain does not require an account and does not operate a custom game backend. Level completion, stars, best scores and shots used, coins, paint selection, selected and unlocked cannons, unlocked worlds, and sound, haptic, reduced-motion and graphics settings are saved locally on your device, including a local backup of the save. The game does not upload this saved game file to a Honio Games server. Device backups may include app data depending on your Apple settings; those backups are managed by Apple and you.
3. Advertising and information processed by Google
Smash Chain includes Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK) for optional rewarded ads and interstitial ads at eligible breaks in play. Google and the advertising partners involved in serving an ad may process IP addresses and approximate location inferred from them; device or app identifiers; ad impressions, video views and other ad interactions; app interaction signals; and crash, diagnostic and performance information. This processing supports ad delivery, measurement, SDK operation and protection against invalid traffic. Actual processing depends on device permissions, consent choices and the ad service configuration. It is separate from the game progress stored locally on your device. Read Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
4. Consent and advertising choices
Smash Chain uses Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to update consent information and present applicable privacy messages when advertising is enabled. Ads are requested only when UMP reports that they may be requested. When the privacy options entry is required, open the game settings and select “Scelte sulla privacy” to revisit the form and change or withdraw your choices. Available choices depend on your region and the configured message. Withdrawal affects future processing and does not make earlier lawful processing unlawful. The current iOS implementation does not request Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission. UMP does not replace that separate permission. Available device tracking permissions can be managed in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Declining consent does not erase local progress. Rewarded ads are optional and require an internet connection; an unavailable or declined ad does not grant its associated reward.
5. Permissions and purchases
Smash Chain does not request access to contacts, photos, precise GPS location, camera, microphone or health data. The current iOS game does not schedule notifications and contains no paid in-app purchases. In-game coins and rewards are game resources; we do not collect payment card details. Advertising can still involve the device and interaction information described above.
6. Support messages
When you email us, we receive your email address, the content of your message and any information or attachments you choose to send. We use this information to answer you, investigate a reported issue and handle privacy requests. Please send only information relevant to your request and do not include passwords or payment details. Support email is processed through Gmail, provided by Google.
7. Purposes and legal bases
We process support information to provide requested assistance and manage our relationship with you, and where appropriate on the basis of our legitimate interests in resolving problems, maintaining security and responding to requests. Advertising processing that requires consent is subject to your consent through the applicable privacy controls. We may also process information when necessary to meet a legal obligation. Where European or UK data protection law applies, the relevant basis depends on the processing described above; you may object to processing based on legitimate interests.
8. Sharing and international processing
Our email provider processes support correspondence, and Google and advertising partners process the advertising information described above under their applicable terms and privacy policies. We do not provide the locally saved game file to advertising partners. We may disclose information we hold when required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. We require service providers handling personal data on our behalf to protect it consistently with this policy and applicable law. Google services may process information in countries other than yours; see Google’s information about international transfers and legal frameworks.
9. Retention and deletion
Local game data remains on your device until removed. Deleting Smash Chain through iOS removes its local app data; offloading the app may retain it, and restoring a device backup may restore saved data. Manage backups separately in your Apple settings. We cannot remotely access, recover or delete your local save. We retain support messages only as long as needed to resolve the request, follow up on the issue and meet applicable legal or recordkeeping requirements, then delete them when no longer needed. Google and advertising partners apply their own retention periods to data they process; see Google’s retention information. Uninstalling Smash Chain does not automatically delete data already processed by these services. Contact us for help directing a request to the relevant provider.
10. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your personal information, obtain a copy, restrict processing, object to certain uses, or withdraw consent. To make a request, email honiogames@gmail.com with the subject ‘Smash Chain privacy request’. We may request proportionate information to verify your request and will respond within the period required by applicable law. We can act on information we hold, such as support correspondence; data held independently by Google may require a request to Google. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. Where applicable, use the privacy form’s options to opt out of targeted advertising or related sharing.
11. Children’s privacy
Smash Chain does not ask players to provide their age, name or an account profile to play. Parents and guardians should review the App Store age rating, device parental controls and advertising information before allowing a child to use the game. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact honiogames@gmail.com. We will investigate and take appropriate steps to delete information we hold where required, and help identify the relevant provider for information processed by an advertising service.
12. Security and policy updates
We use reasonable measures to protect information we handle, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure. Protect access to your device and your email account. We may update this policy when Smash Chain’s features or information practices change. The current version is published at this address with its effective date; where required, we will provide additional notice or seek renewed consent.
